Acceptable Use Policy

PromoHyper turns a product URL into an animated promotional video. This page sets out what the service may and may not be used to create. It applies to everyone who uses promohyper.com, and forms part of our Terms of Service. If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us at hello@promohyper.com and we will act on it.

What PromoHyper is

PromoHyper is a business-to-business marketing tool. You give it the address of your own product; it reads the page, writes a script, records a voiceover using licensed stock voices, composes original music, and renders motion graphics written as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Some scenes may include a generated still image.

PromoHyper is an independent product built on top of third-party AI models. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of those model providers.

People in generated images

A generated image may show a person when a scene genuinely calls for one. When it does, that person is invented and unidentifiable — a role in a scene, not a specific human being.

The service may not be used to generate:

  • a real, named, recognizable, famous, historical or public person;
  • the likeness of any actual individual, with or without their consent;
  • face swaps, deepfakes, or any other manipulation of a real person’s face;
  • a generated person presented as a real customer, employee or endorser — a made-up face with a name, job title or testimonial attached is impersonation, not a stock photo.

These limits are enforced in the product, not only stated here: image requests are screened before generation and requests of this kind are refused.

Voice

Voiceovers use a fixed catalogue of licensed stock voices. There is no voice cloning, no custom voice upload, and no way to imitate a specific person’s voice.

What you may not create

  • Impersonation and deception — content that pretends to come from a person or company that is not you, fake reviews or testimonials, invented statistics or claims about a product, or anything intended to mislead a viewer about who is speaking.
  • Sexual or adult content of any kind, including AI-generated adult content and anything suggestive or borderline.
  • Anything involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context. This is reported, not just blocked.
  • Harassment, hate or violence — content that threatens, degrades or incites harm against a person or a group.
  • Infringement — logos, footage, screenshots, music or other material you do not own or have the right to use, and content that infringes someone else’s trademark or copyright.
  • Illegal or regulated activity — anything unlawful where you are, or promotion of products you are not licensed to sell.
  • Misinformation that could affect public health, public safety or elections, and political campaign material.
  • Surveillance and profiling — using the service to identify people, infer things about them, or build any kind of facial recognition or biometric dataset.

What you upload

You may upload your logo and screenshots of your own product. By uploading, you confirm you have the rights to that material. Uploads are placed into your video as they are — they are never fed into an image-generation model, so no uploaded photo can be edited, restyled or turned into a new image of a person.

Marketing your own product

Videos made with PromoHyper are yours to publish. You are responsible for what they say: read and check a video before you put it in front of an audience. Generated scripts and visuals can be wrong, and a claim in your video is your claim, not ours.

How we enforce this

  • Image requests are screened before generation; requests for face swaps, deepfakes or real-person likeness are refused and no image is produced.
  • The underlying model providers apply their own safety filters on top of ours. We do not attempt to weaken, bypass or work around those filters.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, and we may refuse a specific request without closing an account.
  • Report abuse to hello@promohyper.com. We read every report.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Significant changes are emailed to registered users.
