- Will it just tell me to launch on Product Hunt?
- Not necessarily. It is instructed to recommend fewer platforms and to mark the ones that do not fit your buyer as skip. For a lot of developer tools, Show HN and one subreddit beat a Product Hunt launch you are not ready for.
- What does the readiness check actually look at?
- What your live page does and does not say: whether there is a clear buyer, whether pricing exists, whether the product can be tried. If it reads as too early, it says so and names the blockers — because you only get one first launch on most platforms.
- Can I use the launch post it writes?
- Yes, it is yours. Read it out loud first and change anything that does not sound like you; a launch post that reads as generated converts worse than a plain one that sounds human.
